Meet Your Coach: Rich Vincent
Rich Vincent is a CEO coach and a leadership development expert. Over his 30 year career, he’s coached over 2,500 leaders through 1:1 and group coaching programs, including the top levels of leadership at several Fortune 50 companies and pre-IPO startups, and oversaw the professional development for over 500,000 employees.
Prior to his own practice, Rich built out the leader development functions at DigitalOcean and Knotel, two pre-IPO companies in New York City. Before that, he was at Amazon where he focused on building a self-sustaining leadership pipeline to support Amazon’s annual growth rate of 40%. He created an ethic of leader development as a key part of executives' responsibilities to help drive Amazon’s exponential growth. Before Amazon, Rich served as Chief Learning Officer for Nestlé USA and as the Director of Leadership and Executive Development. Rich created Nestlé’s Innovation Immersion program, established an internal venture capital board (chaired by the CEO) and built Nestlé’s Innovation Space to fast-track innovation projects.
Early in his career, Rich spent seven years in the U.S. Air Force as a combat training officer, teaching leadership and strategy in a combat environment. Rich left the service with the rank of Captain.
Rich has also been a guest lecturer at Stanford University, the University of California Los Angeles, the University of Washington, and the University of Southern California. Rich holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, a M.Sc in Human Resources Development, and a B.S. in Psychology.
